Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the were Energix (TASE:), which rose 4.78% or 59.00 points to trade at 1,294.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) added 4.51% or 25.80 points to end at 598.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) was up 4.46% or 195.00 points to 4,565.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Newmed Energy LP (TASE:), which fell 5.31% or 45.40 points to trade at 810.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.91% or 115.00 points to end at 2,825.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was down 3.52% or 4,900.00 points to 134,200.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 284 to 197 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.31% or 0.27 to $86.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.18% or 0.17 to hit $93.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.45 to trade at $1,773.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.66% to 3.40, while EUR/ILS fell 0.20% to 3.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 106.27.
